Tycho

Tycho offers up the second of three singles, Adrift/From Home , which precede his forthcoming and long-anticipated full-length release. Like aural manifestations of Tycho’s graphic-design work as ISO50, these two productions are color-saturated and sublimely visual. “Adrift” fulfills the somnambulant promise of its title, wrapping a chugging downtempo drum beat and gauzy guitars in aquamarine analog fuzz. “From Home” provides a nice counterpoint to the single: with its dusty whispers and bell tones, this second cut is Tycho’s contemplative moodiness in its purest form.
